This is a very good change, I particularly like how it temporarily overrides your room status. It would be cool if more commands that might take a period of time or repeated attempts worked like this.

Suggestion, bring back the fuck and bird socials, and combine them so that typing "fuck" has your character say fuck, and fuck <name> has your character flip the other character the bird. Why? Oh wow, The socials turning into a pose is actually something I've considered asking for in the past. I used to type "nod CharacterName yes I agree" a lot, mixing up social and talk.
