So I'm considering seriously teaching myself how to program in lambdamoo, if only as a hobby. I'm slightly curious as to what someone would recommend would be the initial steps I would take if I would be compiling the LambdaMOO source in a Debian environment. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've gotten so far as to
sh configure
make
and I get a number of errors within.

So I eventually got the compiling to run smoothly, even got the server up and running with a fairly decent basic database in place. I've got complete access, created wiz/programmer, and have begun programming (if you can call it that). I've been tinkering with various systems already in place (RPGcore) and have been wondering how I might go about fuddling with stats and skills. That is, there are four stats currently, and I wish to add to them and change some that are already in place.
Where would I begin?
