Minor changes in November

This month has mostly been behind the scenes changes and preparatory stuff. Nothing major to show here, but there have been some minor changes that are worth keeping track of.
  • Certain decker controlled ahabs can no longer drive cars or manipulate keypads
  • If someone disconnects you from the matrix by pulling out your DNI, it should now be pretty instant. Oh, and you'll get a bitch of a headache
  • If someone disconnects you from the matrix by running a soft on you, it should also be pretty instant. Oh, and you'll also get a headache from this, too.
  • Speaking of which, I've changed the method by which damage is applied to cyberdecks, as part of some work towards a larger change. Nothing has changed with the numbers, but it's worth noting in case there's tracebacks or damage not getting applied like it should.
  • Certain characters and words are no longer allowed in matrix icons.
  • Changed the way stats are tracked, to make adding new skills/stats easier in the future. In the process this may have caused some issues for people involving their eyes. Sorry about that.
  • The usual misc. bugfixes.

  • Deckers can now jack into their cyberdeck wherever they may be. Obviously you'll be unable to connect to the matrix from a non-linked location, but if you're plugged into anything else you'll be able to access that system.
