If you're feeling particularly helpful (of course you are, you're all lovely people), you can now actively edit help files for the game.

To do this, take a look at the help category on the wiki. Essentially, if you create a page that is named in the format "help/Whatever", someone in game will be able to search for "help whatever" and get your content.

Usual caveats apply, don't be an idiot, etc. If you want to redirect a help file to a particular page that already exists, use the normal MediaWiki redirect style and it should propagate through.

I'm assuming here that you can actually edit the wiki, let me know if you can't.

I'm not sure we can actually make pages, though. Editing seems to work but I don't see a create article button anywhere.

I've *added* to the wiki, but I haven't actually made a page yet. I do plan on contributing though. Help files on CS have needed touching up for years.

If you try to go to a page that doesn't exist it'll attempt to create it.

I started doing that, but appearantly the help pages need to be reviewed before they be available ingame. I'd like to know how that process runs down, like where's the "submit" button, metaphorically speaking?

There isn't a submit button, creating the page is enough.

But how do you know new pages are there to be reviewed? At least my little PVP help page isn't on the ingame help list yet. I guess I should just continue making pages until it's relevant to push reviews. Nevermind ^^

The page automatically gets added to a list for approval when it's created or updated. The PVP page is listed under Help.

Ah, it shows in game but it looks like there's a transclusion error when you try `help pvp'. I'll check it out.
