Firstly, your character now keeps better track of items that enter and leave their inventory and will remember items for a short amount of time. This means that the "my" keyword can now refer to objects in the room that you've dropped recently, as well as objects in your inventory. When using the "my" keyword, objects will be looked at in the order:
things in your hands
things in your inventory
things in the room
This means that "my first thing" and "first thing" may refer to different objects, as without the "my" keyword the parser will look at the room before your own things.
You can also use the keyword "other" to refer, specifically, to the second item that would match in a list.
Code: Select all
Carrying:
a used tonfa a used tonfa
> dub first tonfa as "Tony the Tonfa"
The used tonfa now bears the name "Tony the Tonfa"
> dub second tonfa as "Not Tony the Tonfa"
The used tonfa now bears the name "Not Tony the Tonfa"
> l first tonfa
A short polyfiber club with a handle extending from it's length close to one end. It's matte black finish is highly resistant to keep bloodstains to a minimum, and it's new design gives it a twenty percent greater sweet spot than the last model. The latest innovation in traditional police brutality tools.
The letters "Tony the Tonfa" are etched into the surface, presumably by the owner.
> hold second tonfa
You get out your used tonfa.
> l first tonfa

On the subject of tonfas, if you're dual wielding them you'll now get a slight parry bonus.
Finally, it has come to my attention that the code handling self-decapitation with thumbwires was disabled.
It is no longer disabled.
p.s. also, the forum integration works now.
